Niv, based in Los Angeles, has made several Carnegie Hall appearances, and has performed in Europe and the Middle East. In recent seasons he has performed recitals and chamber music across the United States, taught masterclasses at universities, soloed with orchestras, and been a featured performer at the Kennedy Center. He is the winner of numerous competitions, including the 2010 American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition and the 2007 VSA International Young Soloist Award. An active member of the Perlman Music Program’s Chamber Music Workshop, Niv is a graduate of The Juilliard School (under Itzhak Perlman and Glenn Dicterow). He serves on the board of the Los Angeles Youth Orchestra (LAYO) and works as a coach with several other local youth ensembles. He has also collaborated with dance companies as a soloist and an arranger for multimedia performances, and collaborated on chamber music with members of the LA Philharmonic for the charitable organization Street Symphony. iPalpiti member since 2013. https://nivashkenazimusic.com/
